Cindy Porter’s dad, Charles William Porter, a veteran and lifetime fireman, always believed in the importance of doing things for others, and never asked for anything in return. He was known for bringing joy wherever he went and for always telling people he loved them- family, friends, and even strangers. And it was never more important to him than during the holidays. That’s how he lived his life, and that’s how his daughter is honoring his memory.

We believe that no child should wonder if there will be a present waiting for them Christmas morning, and that no parent should know the heartbreak of not being able to provide one.
